A marvelous, fabulous show. Words cannot describe what I felt--and neither can I at this point, since I didn't get home until after 2 a.m. and had to get up at 5:30 to go to work (!). But it was worth it!

I have to admit, when I first heard the new CD, I didn't like it at all. But it gradually grew on me to the point where I now love it and listen to it all the time. However, those songs really came alive for me last night. I cannot even begin to tell you the power and the depth of what I heard last night. All I have to say is, all of you going to upcoming shows are in for an extra-special treat.

Miscellaneous observations: Thank you thank you THANK YOU, Neil and Co. for providing the crowd with water and cold sodas. Yesterday was the hottest day of the year (so far) in NYC, and the Poland Spring I was handed was the best water I've ever tasted in my life--probably because it saved me from passing out from heat exhaustion! I passed the bottle around to fellow Crowdies --hey, we're all germ-free, right?

I have been to many many concerts in my 39 years on this planet, and this was the first time I actually experienced the band caring enough to take care of us overheated fans like that.

I'll leave it to someone else to report Neil's comments re Paul Hester. Let's just say they were very funny!

And once again, a big hello to all the fans I met on line and in the venue. Hello Nina, and Steve and Dave, and thanks Kayt for the buttons and hey, were you recording the show by any chance? ;)

I am so looking forward to tomorrow's gig at the Galaxy in Westhampton!
