Considering that last night was the first time that I ever saw Neil Finn in concert, I was VERY impressed. And, as has been mentioned previously, a few suprises were in store.

Tim came out to sing "Suffer Never," "Angel's Heap," and "Weather With You." A big suprise considering the lead in was inconspicuous. Neil said "This is a song I wrote with my brother Tim" to a round of applause. The lights dimmed onto Neil and he started fiddling with his guitar. Then from stage right came Tim. :) They had a little banter after "Suffer Never" about using "any excuse for a family get- together" and about Liam and Harper. I remember someone saying that Tim's vocals have been badly damaged over time, but if last night was an example, he is still in fine voice, and looking relaxed. Hearing "Message to My Girl" live was a special moment, and not one I'll readily forget... :)

Bic Runga was great, although she seemed quite nervous. And the way she introduced each song was in contrast to Neil... Interesting singer, and I'll definitely look at either "Sway" (her single) or the album Drive.
