Geez I had a great weekend!

Well around ten of us listies met at the Town Hall at six, we then went to Alexander's for dinner (when we finally got in!). We then raced over to the State Theatre and walked on in to find the merchandise and grab another drink before the show. I bought up two shirts, the keyring and the badge. All good buys. I resisted the autographed CD, I already have the album, I don't need two. Did you know that poor Neil has been autographing up to 200 items a day!

Talked to our mate Peter Green for quite a while in between him signing up new members. We now have another 200 members of the club after the two shows, he sold out of kits!

I went and watched Bic, who doesn't like doing gigs, she wasn't bad though, nice voice, smart songs, plays well too. She got a good response from everyone in there.

Neil came on not long after Bic went off and of course everyone went wild! I must say that the light show was fantastic, it added a lot to the show, loved the green during "Suffer Never" and I enjoyed Neil's solo bit, it was this great big experimentation thing, Neil was enjoying himself.

"Private Universe" went off as well. "Rocky Raccoon" was fun, "Hole In The River" was great (I was that clapper during most of the beginning).

Liam is a great guitar player and only 14, plays drums well too. Many of us ran down to the front when Neil went off for the first break. Simon, Kyle, Mick and myself held off but we decided to run down like the rest of the people. It was good to see that Neil didn't mind and the security didn't stop anyone either. Hey, we were well-behaved anyway. Everyone had a laugh at a few of the 'loonies' down the front who did the 'we love you Neil' thing.

Someone sent a paper aeroplane up on stage with a message in it, although Neil didn't read it out loud (probably for the better anyway).

They finished on "Addicted" with a HUGE bass sound, Robert left it and we were shaking in the vibrations from the speakers, stuff the vibrations from the train underneath, this was huge, you could feel it going right through you. Neil just sat there at the keyboard till it stopped and then went off.

Oh yeah, better not forget poor Aylin who got hit in the forehead by a flying drumstick! Lovely lump she had! Peter Green thought I was joking when I told him.
