Ladies' Bug

Chitinous mandibles chittering
all six black eyes glittering
he scuttled into the dingy bar
and set the she-bugs a-twittering.

With pheromones enticing
he looked to them like icing,
amazing how your life can change
after a little gene splicing!

At the genetic forge of Duon III
DNA is altered easily --
save up enough galactic creds
you can be whatever you want to be.
