Artist Bio

Christopher Volker has been a fan of fantasy since early childhood. He draws his inspiration from what he sees in nature and his imagination as well as from the imaginations of others. Amongst his dreams are to illustrate the works of Tolkien and Leiber, and to one day be mentioned in the same breath as Berni Wrightson, Virgil Finlay and maybe even (gasp) Frank Frazetta.

Christopher is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and has begun to shop around his works within the fantasy market. He has also written a children's picture story entitled The Flutterbys. Various examples of his works can be seen on his website.
