PKK Program Translated Into English

     We are happy to announce that we have finally completed an
English translation of the political program of the Kurdistan
Workers Party (PKK). After waiting a long time for one to appear,
we took it upon ourselves to translate this document, in order to
provide people with a better understanding of the Kurdish
national liberation movement and its socialist character. The
original version of this text ('PKK Progaram ve Tuzugu'), which
was adopted in January 1995 after the PKK's 5th Party Congress,
revised the PKK's original platform which was drafted way back in
November 1978 when the party was founded. Our version was
translated from the German edition ('Parteiprogramm der PKK'),
which first appeared in October 1995. We will be distributing the
PKK's program on both of our lists, ATS-L and KURD-L, broken down
into four chapters:

Introduction
Chapter One: The World Situation
Chapter Two: Kurdish Society
Chapter Three: The Revolution In Kurdistan
