ARGK War Balance Since August 15, 1995 On December 15, 1995, the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) announced a unilateral cease-fire in its war with the colonialist/fascist Turkish state. Despite this political gesture, the Turkish army has pressed on with its dirty war against the Kurds, forcing the guerrillas to fight in defensive actions.
