They seemed very relaxed as the show is not a typical MTV show. They were cooking chicken satay (sp?).
Paul and Nick then took part in a game called "Bingo Wall of Death" where numbers are drawn and they are then asked questions from a board. The first question was tame enough.
Q:Where is your favourite holiday destination?
P:The East Coast of Australia (Cannot remember the particular town)
N:Sea of Cortez,Baha (sp?) California.
The next question was when the fun really started.
Q:When did you lose your virginity.
P:(I am paraphrasing here) This happened when I was about 13 underneath my
house. My friend went first and then I got about 20 seconds. Her name was
Robyn. She said there was a "lot of room for improvement".
He was asked by Ray Cokes whether he had improved and he said that he didn't "stampede the clitoris" anymore. (This really cracked me up.You know the way Paul speaks in his dead-pan way. Even Nick was looking at him in astonishment)
N:I was about 17. (He really couldn't add much after Paul.)
Q:Do you believe in God?
P:No! My father used try to get me to go to Sunday school but I wouldn't.
N:No, not anymore. I am a bit of a lapsed Catholic.
This was the last question. They were supposed to answer four but I think after the way paul answered the virginity question, Ray was afraid of asking anything else.
They then played the video for "Into Temptation". Neil answered some questions from phone callers while himself and Mark were cooking. Neil then picked up his guitar and played about a minute of a song he had written before called "Ray". This delighted Ray Cokes who thought Neil had made it up on the spot for him. Maybe he did (It wasn't one of Neil's best efforts).
They then played the program out with another song which I unfortunately did not catch all of.It was probably one from the new album as I didn't recognise it.
All in all,it was very enjoyable watching them in such a jovial mood.
