I have to say this first, Crowded House is an incredible live band. I have to admit, I had not heard many songs by Crowded House before I went to the show last Saturday. I think Chocolate Cake is the song I associate Crowded House. My girlfriend is the person who asked me to go to this show. I have dragged her to plenty of concerts before. I only thought it was fair that I attend this one with her.

I have to say I really enjoy this band. They have great stage presence. Their songs are meaningful. They are talented musicians (this was confirmed by the incredible instrumental jam in the middle of the set). They are immencely humorous. During one song, Neil stopped during a song to ask two girls where they were going. The drummer (I am sorry, I don't know his name) commented on how he would like to see where the girls were going. Neil said, "why don't you see." Off he went, running down the aisle next to us. While he was away, Neil began ad libing a song about the tow girls. It was incredibly funny. After several minutes, the drummer came back with a trash can from the women's restroom. He jumped up on stage to add percussion to the song using the trash can. Then, he dumped the contents of the trash can all over the stage, searching for the soiled towel left by the two girls. After finding it, he announced, "I could sell this. I could get $20 for it." He commented on how it reaked of "female smelly products" and "cocaine residue" It brought the house down! They proceeded to play the rest of the set with trash thrown around the stage.

I must say that I am a fan of Crowded House now. I would really like to see this band again.
