Review by Jason McNamara (jason.mcnamara@accc.gov.au)

The light show was great really added to the concert but the smoke machine got a bit out of control. Neil was difficult to see at some stages. Time for a change was spoilt by a buzzing sound coming out of the speakers, I'm no technician so don't ask what it was it just made the song sound a bit poor even though Tim's singing was on the mark.

Neil made mention of a 'relationship' Tim had with a babysitter when he was about 12 just before they played Angel Heap, I'm not sure if he was suggesting this was what the song was about.

The local light and fluffy radio station (we don't want to know about new music) had some competition apparently and the winner got to sit on a couch in the front row. Neil and Tim went down to sit on it when they played their home videos.

They dedicated Mood Swinging Man to their Father who was in Sydney that evening getting 'happy' which Neil said this meant he was getting "pissed". Tim pointed out though that Mood Swinging Man was not written about their Father though.

It is always strange to see a drummer singing especially when it is Tim. The Enz songs were the highlight in my opinion. The starter Only Talking Sense was great live (being my favourite song off Finn) and is surely a hit, if people out their had good taste, alas most don't.

In all a great concert especially considering the venue is fairly cold and pathetic.
